Recognition for Sentence Trouble at the Children and Young People Now Awards

On Thursday 18th November Children and Young People Now held their annual awards ceremony, which representatives from the Trust attended.

The Trust’s Sentence Trouble project was among those projects short-listed for the Justice Award. The award was ultimately won by the County Durham Youth Offending Service who developed a pre-reprimand disposal to give young people a second chance to avoid being criminalised.

However, the Sentence Trouble resources were not ignored. The judges awarded the resources ‘Highly commended’, which they used sparingly across the categories. The Trust is delighted that the resources have received the recognition they deserve and would like to thank all who have been involved in their development.
